Oct. 20: Some showers in the morning, drier afternoon

Welcome to your Tuesday. Whipping winds continue this morning, pushing some showers onshore. This will usher in less humid, slightly drier conditions in the forecast this afternoon. This will be a little taste of fall for South Florida. Highs will be near seasonal in the mid-80s with more sunshine. The weather will continue to get better as lower humidity will help usher in from the northeast breeze. The northeast breeze will provide for hazardous marine conditions with a high risk of rip currents for beachgoers. This morning, there is a High Surf Advisory for Broward, and advisories for boaters.
