VALLEY CITY, N. D. (NewsDakota.com) A 75-year-old man was injured after he lost control of his pickup on Winter Show Road in Valley City on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Police Chief Nick Horner said the Valley City Police Department, Valley City Fire Department, and Barnes County Ambulance responded to a single-vehicle injury crash in the 300 block of Winter Show Road in the industrial park. Horner said a pickup driven by a 75-year-old man lost control, possibly due to a medical issue. The pickup struck two trailers before striking a tractor implement before coming to a stop. The driver was transported to Mercy Hospital for medical treatment. The crash remains under investigation.
